KEY CREWMEMBERS

Philip Virgil Jenkinson formed The Virgil Corporation in 2006 because too many people were approaching him to do projects, and he didn’t have an ABN handy. Over the first year Philip re-established relationships with gifted specialists that Philip had worked with before in creative, production and developmental roles. Today, Philip is able to deploy a fluid team of up to ten specialists, on a project to project basis as each brief requires.

Philip Virgil Jenkinson

Philip is a big-picture thinker and excels at turning complex information into compelling communication. He possesses significant branding, project management, marcomms and writing expertise gained at leading agencies and organisations.

His brag list includes McCann-Erickson Sydney, Grey Direct Response, EURO R.S.C.G., Integrated Options, Alpha Multimedia, Coles Myer Liquor Group and futureffect.

Philip has created and managed campaigns involving direct marketing, editorial, TV/Radio/Print advertising, website content, trade marketing, corporate videos, PR, editorial, brochures and case histories for leading companies and niche marketers.

Standout projects he has worked on include the launch of Telstra’s Big Pond Cable internet; integrated TV/radio/Print campaigns for Coca-Cola brands; print and POS for Levis; Cathay Pacific Airways trade marketing and consumer DM collateral; 5 DVDs, website and ongoing marketing comms collateral for Young Life Australia; plus event scripting for the 2008 Bell Awards hosted by James O’Loghlin.

Philip has an excellent track record across such diverse sectors as fashion, consumer goods, education, sustainability, IT, heavy machinery, automotive, lawncare, liquor, CSDs (soft drinks), cafes/restaurants, book retailing, teenage mentoring and clinical medical research.

Philip is directly involved with Young Life Australia on an on-going P/T marketing comms management role, handles one-off assignments on a project by project basis directly for The Virgil Corporation as well as subcontracting his creative services to leading targeted marketing agency, ‘Audience of One’ as well as boutique advertising agency ‘Guillotine Creative Executions’.

His expertise, enthusiasm, valuable insights and wide-ranging marcomms capabilities ensure leading-edge results for clients of The Virgil Corporation, across all media.

Chris Burke

Chris Burke is a highly skilled website designer/developer/builder, with significant IT and interactive experience and a track record of delivering excellent communication outcomes, even if that means working until he drops from exhaustion.

Chris graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Bradford University, England in 2000, but we won’t hold that against him. He has had wide ranging roles in organisations as diverse as Vickers Aerospace, Coles Myer Liquor Group, Mastercard, and the Environmental Protection Agency.

With an eye for design and a brain hard-wired for programming (he wrote the code for the ‘Super Plastic Forming Press’ to monitor pressure and temperature levels taken from the jet propulsion control panel while at Vickers) Chris is The Virgil Corporation’s resident rocket scientist. He’s a pretty hot designer and multimedia whiz kid too.

Chris has worked on plenty of websites. Some of the more recent ones include Essential Gifts, Mailmasters HYM Project, Jesus Is Lord Church Australia, Wildervoice, Kings Dominion Empowerment Centre, Norwest Corporate Cars , Young Life Australia, Softec Solutions, and Covance Asia Pacific.
